FAQ
Clear answers, calm tone. If you ever feel unsure, we want it to be easy to understand what this app does and doesn’t do.
Is this a medical or diagnostic tool?
No. This app is for practice and progress. It does not diagnose speech conditions or assess health.
Will the transcript be perfect?
Not always. Speech transcription can miss words, especially with background noise, fast speech, or different accents. That’s why we label it as “What the app heard”.
Does this app judge my accent or pronunciation?
No. This app does not score accents or try to make you sound “native”. It focuses on clarity habits like pace and filler words.
What does “filler words” mean?
Words or phrases people often use while thinking, like “um”, “uh”, or “like”. Many people use them, especially when nervous. The app simply counts patterns so you can notice change over time.
Where is my history stored?
On your device. Your session history is saved locally in your browser so you can track progress over time.
Can I delete my history?
Yes. You can clear history at any time, and it removes saved sessions from this device.
Is this a replacement for a speech or vocal coach?
No. It’s a practice companion that can support work between sessions and help you notice patterns more clearly. Coaching remains human.
Do I have to practise every day?
No. Practise when it feels helpful. Consistency can help, but pressure usually doesn’t.
What’s the best way to use it?
Pick one simple focus per session, for example pace, fewer fillers, or a clearer structure. Record, review, practise again when ready.
Still wondering something?
If a feature ever feels judgemental or pressuring, that’s not the intention. We can adjust.
